About this YuYu Hakusho figure
The hall files Hiei (Ankoku Bujutsukai) under YuYu Hakusho. It stands about 5.5 in. It is a display piece rather than a toy — the pose is the product, and there is nothing to articulate or swap afterwards.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 5.5" tall, Hiei is seen in his iconic pose
Looking after it
Keep it out of direct sun. Prize-figure paint is thin by design and the warm tones go first; a shelf across the room from a window will outlast one on the sill by years. Dust with a soft brush rather than a cloth — woven fabric catches on sculpted hair tips and snaps them.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the YuYu Hakusho shelf this is the 7th dearest of 16 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $14 to $52. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

BUY IT IF YOU LOVE HIEI
Banpresto has AFFORDABLE, BEAUTIFUL, and very STURDY figures. I bought the entire collection of Yu Yu Hakusho and we (my husband and I) are BEYOND pleased. I highly recommend buying from Banpresto when it comes to anime figures! They have QUALITY

It's real
I had to double check the statue. I wanted to be sure after it arrived that it wasn't a bootleg because the price was so good. It's not a bootleg statue and is as described. Thank you!

Nice
The proportions seem off (head/face to body size). If the proportions were adjusted a small bit…. This figurine would be perfect.
