The prize hall for every Banpresto figure — sorted by series, priced from the shelf

Banpresto

Why the floor exists

Looking for one Banpresto figure is easy. Looking at all of them at once is almost impossible: the releases are spread across retailers, the line names mean nothing until somebody explains them, and half the listings you find are for runs that ended two years ago. We built this hall because we wanted the view a floor manager has — everything out on shelves, sorted the way people shop.

So that is what this is. One shelf per series, every figure we track on it, the line name attached so a format can be compared with its own kind, and a price read live rather than remembered.

What we do

We read the partner store, we sort what we find, and we write the page. The sorting is the work: deciding which shelf a crossover belongs on, folding a figure sold under four slightly different listing titles down to one page, and throwing out the resellers who have attached themselves to a popular release.

Every figure page is written from the listing it came from — the stated height, the materials, what the box contains — plus whatever reviewers said after opening it. Reviews are quoted as written, by people who bought the figure. We do not write reviews.

How a Banpresto figure gets onto a shelf

Nothing here is hand-picked for effect. A collectable figure earns a page by being a Banpresto release that is actually on sale, and the route in is always the same four steps:

  • Read the brand catalogue end to end, then sweep for anything released under the Banpresto name that the catalogue missed
  • Drop resellers, bundles and duplicate listings of one sculpt, keeping whichever listing is in stock
  • Shelve by series — Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen to Jujutsu Kaisen — and label the Banpresto line underneath
  • Read the price live, so a Dragon Ball figure that moved last week does not sit here at last month's number

What we do not do

We do not stock, pack, ship or take payment. Nothing on this floor is for sale here; each figure opens the listing it was read from, and the transaction belongs entirely to that store. Orders, tracking, returns and warranty claims go through the order page of the partner store you bought from, because that is the only place the order exists.

We also do not pretend to be the label. Banpresto is a Bandai Spirits brand and this is a catalogue of its figures, written by readers of the hobby rather than by anyone who works on it.

Reaching us

Questions about a figure, a line, a size or which shelf something should be on are genuinely welcome — they are how the sorting gets better. Write to the attendant desk and say which figure you mean.
