Maomao - Poncho — Banpresto figure

About this The Apothecary Diaries figure

Maomao - Poncho comes from Banpresto's The Apothecary Diaries output. It stands about 7.9 in. What ships is what you see in the photographs — a single fixed pose, no articulation, no accessories to attach beyond the base it stands on.

Looking after it

Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the The Apothecary Diaries shelf this is the 4th dearest of 12 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $30 to $45. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
