Shishiba — Banpresto figure

About this Sakamoto Days figure

Shishiba is a Sakamoto Days piece, released under the Vibration Stars line. It stands about 7.1 in. It arrives finished: one static pose, no joints to set, no parts to glue, just the figure and the base it locks onto.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• Vibration Stars Shishiba from Sakamoto Days!
• Standing at approximately 7.1" tall, Shishiba is seen in their iconic pose

Looking after it

Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the Sakamoto Days shelf this is the 9th dearest of 12 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $21 to $51. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
