About this Sakamoto Days figure
Sakamoto Taro II comes from Banpresto's Sakamoto Days output, released under the Vibration Stars line. It stands about 6.7 in. It arrives finished: one static pose, no joints to set, no parts to glue, just the figure and the base it locks onto.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Vibration Stars Sakamoto Taro- II
- Standing at approximately 6.7"(Width) tall, Sakamoto Taro is seen in their iconic pose
Looking after it
Treat the paint as the fragile part. It is thin, it fades under UV faster than a scale figure's does, and it marks if you rub it. Shade plus a soft dry brush is the whole routine.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the Sakamoto Days shelf this is the 10th dearest of 12 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $21 to $51. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

Sakamoto Fabulous Flying Side Kick
This guy is on the featured top shelf display in my house. It's wicked awesome to have an in-action, slender-for-this-battle Sakamoto — I wish I could meet the sculptor and designer. The anatomical detail and articulation are top-notch.
