About this One Piece figure
Edward Newgate comes from Banpresto's One Piece output, released under the Grandista line. It stands about 8.3 in. It arrives finished: one static pose, no joints to set, no parts to glue, just the figure and the base it locks onto.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 8.3" tall, Whitebeard is seen in their iconic pose
Looking after it
Treat the paint as the fragile part. It is thin, it fades under UV faster than a scale figure's does, and it marks if you rub it. Shade plus a soft dry brush is the whole routine.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the One Piece shelf this is the 102nd dearest of 176 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $11 to $91. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

Grandson, delighted!
I bought this for my grandson‘s 18th birthday. My other grandson, his stepbrother, sent me a link to it. I mailed it to him and he sent me a picture of being “over the moon” about it
