About this YuYu Hakusho figure
Hiei comes from Banpresto's YuYu Hakusho output, released under the Q Posket line. It stands about 5.1 in. It arrives finished: one static pose, no joints to set, no parts to glue, just the figure and the base it locks onto.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 5.1" tall, Hiei is seen in his popular pose
- Q posket is a collectible figurine line created by Banpresto. With glossy eyes and charming cheeks, the finest quality and meticulous design of all you favorite characters!
Looking after it
Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the YuYu Hakusho shelf this is the 13th dearest of 16 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $14 to $52. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

Very happy with this
Hiei is such a great h character and it’s nice to see a quality figure that has great detail without complicated assembly. Fits nicely along other decor. I like that you can subtly shift his head position to give his pose a refresh from time to time.

My favorite character
Of course it's hard to find merch and figures for such a old show, but I love it! Came packaged well with nothing broken and the box in great shape!
