Chihaya Kisaragi — Banpresto figure

About this The iDOLM@STER figure

Chihaya Kisaragi is a The iDOLM@STER piece, released under the Celestial Vivi line. It is a display piece rather than a toy — the pose is the product, and there is nothing to articulate or swap afterwards.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• Celestial vivi Chihaya Kisaragi
• Standing at approximately 79" tall, Chihaya Kisaragi is seen in her popular pose

Looking after it

Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the More Anime Figures shelf this is the 97th dearest of 169 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $12 to $88. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
