Rimuru Tempest — Banpresto figure

About this That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime figure

Rimuru Tempest comes from Banpresto's That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime output, released under the Vibration Stars line. What ships is what you see in the photographs — a single fixed pose, no articulation, no accessories to attach beyond the base it stands on.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• Standing at approximately 63" tall, Rimuru is seen in his iconic pose

Looking after it

Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime shelf this is the 36th dearest of 48 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $12 to $65. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
