Damian Desmond (ver. A) — Banpresto figure

About this Spy x Family figure

The hall files Damian Desmond (ver. A) under Spy x Family, released under the Q Posket line. Nothing about it is kit work: the pose was set at the factory, the paint went on there too, and the only thing left for an owner to do is seat it on the base.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• Standing at approximately 5.1 tall, Damian is seen in his popular pose, and includes a stand
• Q posket is a collectible figurine line created by Banpresto. With glossy eyes and charming cheeks, the finest quality and meticulous design of all you favorite characters.

Looking after it

Keep it out of direct sun. Prize-figure paint is thin by design and the warm tones go first; a shelf across the room from a window will outlast one on the sill by years. Dust with a soft brush rather than a cloth — woven fabric catches on sculpted hair tips and snaps them.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the Spy x Family shelf this is the 27th dearest of 28 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $15 to $69. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
