About this Shy figure
Shy comes from Banpresto's Shy output, released under the Q Posket line. It stands about 5.1 in. Like the rest of the prize range it is a fixed pose, finished at the factory and shipped ready to stand — nothing to assemble beyond seating it on its base.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 5.1" tall, Shy is seen in her popular pose
- Q posket is a collectible figurine line created by Banpresto. With glossy eyes and charming cheeks, the finest quality and meticulous design of all you favorite characters!
Looking after it
Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the More Anime Figures shelf this is the 158th dearest of 169 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $12 to $88. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
