About this Shangri-La Frontier figure
Rei Saiga (ver. B) - Special Assortment is a Shangri-La Frontier piece, released under the Celestial Vivi line. It stands about 4.7 in. Nothing about it is kit work: the pose was set at the factory, the paint went on there too, and the only thing left for an owner to do is seat it on the base.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 4.7" tall, Rei is seen in their popular pose
Looking after it
Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the More Anime Figures shelf this is the 32nd dearest of 169 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $12 to $88. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
