About this One Piece figure
The hall files Shanks (Special ver.) Battle Record Collection under One Piece. It stands about 6.7 in. It is a display piece rather than a toy — the pose is the product, and there is nothing to articulate or swap afterwards.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Battle Record Collection Shanks Special Ver
- Standing at approximately 6.7"(Width 9.1"), Shanks is seen in their iconic pose
Looking after it
Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the One Piece shelf this is the 18th dearest of 176 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $11 to $91. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

Awesome
Red Haired Shanks, a character that can be hard to find at a reasonable price. This figure is very detailed and depicts him performing the iconic “Divine Departure”. I couldn't think of a better pose. The red lighting on this variation is a nice touch, and adds to the overall striking pose. Very much recommended of Shanks fans and more importantly, One Piece fans!
