About this One Piece figure
Monkey D. Luffy Gear 5 II belongs to the One Piece side of the floor, released under the Grandista line. It stands about 8.7 in. Nothing about it is kit work: the pose was set at the factory, the paint went on there too, and the only thing left for an owner to do is seat it on the base.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Grandista Monkey D. Luffy Gear5 II
- Standing at approximately 8.7", Luffy is seen in their iconic pose
Looking after it
Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the One Piece shelf this is the 111th dearest of 176 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $11 to $91. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

Worth the buy!
Perfect! It did take a minute to assemble his leg because it was tougher to squeeze in. Other than that, he is stable and sturdy! The detail is fantastic, and he's worth the price.

I really loved this figure, it arrived in very good condition.
I really loved this figure, it arrived in very good condition. This was a gift for a friend who is a huge fan of One Piece, so if you like One Piece or you have a friend or family member who loves this series, I highly recommend this figure. Besides that, this brand has more figures in case you like other series. They have Chainsaw Man, more One Piece figures, Dragon Ball, and Naruto, so I really recommend this brand.
