Shoto Todoroki, DX — Banpresto figure

About this My Hero Academia figure

Shoto Todoroki, DX comes from Banpresto's My Hero Academia output, released under the The Amazing Heroes line. It stands about 8.3 in. Like the rest of the prize range it is a fixed pose, finished at the factory and shipped ready to stand — nothing to assemble beyond seating it on its base.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• The Amazing Heroes -DX- Shoto Todoroki!
• Standing at approximately 8.3" tall, Todoroki is seen in their iconic pose

Looking after it

Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the My Hero Academia shelf this is the 15th dearest of 81 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $18 to $71. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
