Eijiro Kirishima (Ver. B) — Banpresto figure

About this My Hero Academia figure

Eijiro Kirishima (Ver. B) belongs to the My Hero Academia side of the floor, released under the Q Posket line. It stands about 5.5 in. Nothing about it is kit work: the pose was set at the factory, the paint went on there too, and the only thing left for an owner to do is seat it on the base.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• This figure is expertly crafted and meticulously sculpted to look like Eijiro Kirishima from "My Hero Academia"!
• Eijiro Kirishima features big, expressive doll-like eyes that bring out his charm
• Standing at approximately 5.5" tall, Eijiro Kirishima is seen in his popular pose

Looking after it

Two things shorten a prize figure's life: a sunny shelf and a damp cloth. Keep it shaded, and when dust settles use a dry make-up brush — cloth fibres hook on sculpted hair and fingers and take them off.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the My Hero Academia shelf this is the 63rd dearest of 81 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $18 to $71. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
