About this Hunter x Hunter figure
Gon is a Hunter x Hunter piece, released under the FL Figure line. It stands about 23.6 in. Nothing about it is kit work: the pose was set at the factory, the paint went on there too, and the only thing left for an owner to do is seat it on the base.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 23.6" tall
- Gon is seen in their iconic pose and can be used as a pen
Looking after it
Treat the paint as the fragile part. It is thin, it fades under UV faster than a scale figure's does, and it marks if you rub it. Shade plus a soft dry brush is the whole routine.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the Hunter x Hunter shelf this is the dearest of 28 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $19 to $78. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.

Absurd "pen" makes for good laughs
Ok, so this "pen" is a little absurd, but that is why you're looking to buy it. It makes a great conversation piece for those Hunter X Hunter fans it there and make a fun gift that nobody would ever see coming. The quality was better than I expected. Getting Gon to actually clip into the little cloud thing want super easy, but once you do, it seems stable enough as (as much as you could expect due to its height). It got some good laughs when I got it as a gift for a friend, so I think it is worth it. We didn't actually use the pen yet and may not, but obviously you wouldn't use this as a pen except to make a statement to friends when using it. If you have the money to blow on something like this, go for it.
