About this Dragon Ball figure
This is Son Goku, out of the Dragon Ball roster, released under the Grandista line. It stands about 8.7 in. It arrives finished: one static pose, no joints to set, no parts to glue, just the figure and the base it locks onto.
What the listing specifies
Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:
- Standing at approximately 8.7" tall, Son Goku is seen in their iconic pose
Looking after it
Keep it out of direct sun. Prize-figure paint is thin by design and the warm tones go first; a shelf across the room from a window will outlast one on the sill by years. Dust with a soft brush rather than a cloth — woven fabric catches on sculpted hair tips and snaps them.
Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall
On the Dragon Ball shelf this is the 75th dearest of 115 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $19 to $65. Dragon Ball is the deepest shelf in the hall, so its line badges carry more variants than anywhere else on the floor — comparing two Dragon Ball collectable figures from one line is the fastest way to learn what a format promises.

Large and in charge.
Bigger than I thought it would be and it’s got some weight to it. Comes with a stand, but he can stand on his own. The detail is quite good, but the only thing that’s missing is the emblem on his back otherwise the figure is fantastic. I put a marble between his hands so it looks like there’s an actual energy ball growing.
