Akaza II — Banpresto figure

About this Demon Slayer figure

This is Akaza II, out of the Demon Slayer roster, released under the Grandista line. It stands about 9.1 in. It arrives finished: one static pose, no joints to set, no parts to glue, just the figure and the base it locks onto.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• Standing at approx. 9.1", Akaza is seen in their iconic pose and includes a stand

Looking after it

Two things shorten a prize figure's life: a sunny shelf and a damp cloth. Keep it shaded, and when dust settles use a dry make-up brush — cloth fibres hook on sculpted hair and fingers and take them off.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the Demon Slayer shelf this is the 15th dearest of 49 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $12 to $109. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
