Shinchan (Nakayoshi Memories -Let's go to Kindergarten- with Kazama Kun) ver. A — Banpresto figure

About this Crayon Shin-chan figure

Shinchan (Nakayoshi Memories -Let's go to Kindergarten- with Kazama Kun) ver. A comes from Banpresto's Crayon Shin-chan output. It stands about 3.5 in. Like the rest of the prize range it is a fixed pose, finished at the factory and shipped ready to stand — nothing to assemble beyond seating it on its base.

What the listing specifies

Taken from the product listing, trimmed of the sales language:

• Nakayoshi Memories -Let's go to Kindergarden- with Kazuma-kun Shin chan(A)!
• Standing at approximately 3.5" tall, Shin-chan is seen in their iconic pose

Looking after it

Sunlight is the enemy here. Pigments used on prize runs are not formulated for years of UV, and a figure parked on a bright windowsill shifts colour long before a shaded one does. A dry brush beats a duster: anything woven will snag a hair spike eventually.

Where this Banpresto figure sits in the hall

On the Crayon Shin-chan shelf this is the 20th dearest of 29 Banpresto figures, and the shelf as a whole runs $15 to $67. For scale, the deepest shelf in the hall is Dragon Ball with 115 collectable figures on it; a Dragon Ball piece from the same line as this one is built to the same height and finish, which is the quickest way to judge a Banpresto format before committing to it.
